No two horses are exactly alike, but hang around long enough and you start to learn "the types." Certain traits and circumstances will differ, but the need for good nutrition is universal. 

There’s a lot of “hullabaloo” out there about equine joint supplements, but they are definitely not all created equally. My recommendation is to do your homework and choose the ones which have been scientifically validated.

As it relates to cartilage, research has shown that in injured horses and horses with osteoarthritis, there are higher levels of C2C. With OA or injury, cartilage is compromised, in large part due to increased inflammation. Of course, this means that there will be higher levels of degradation products.
