Directions for Use:

Pricey, incomplete
This supplement is pricey but I thought it would be worth it to help manage the insulin resistance one of my horse's has. However, when I learned more I found out that to get the maximum benefit, resveratrol should be given with the amino acid leucine. Metabarol does not contain leucine. I don't plan to continue its use.

Metabarol is the only product that has worked for my horse. I tried 3 others to no avail. I recommended it highly. My horse’s insulin level is now normal, after 4 years of trying various treatments. Good stuff!

I am quite sure this product is working on my 29 year old retired thoroughbred. He has Cushings and is currently on Prascend.... his insulin was elevated and he would come in from being out all day and literally could not stay awake and would have scary episodes of falling asleep and almost falling down each and every afternoon ... after two months on Metabarol... he has not had an episode whatsoever... although I have not had his insulin officially tested since we started this product I am quite certain it is helping him and he feels way better on it... It’s expensive but it’s worth it because it works for sure..

We are just finishing up our second tub and I can see the difference. My horse used to fall asleep on the cross ties in the afternoon and almost fall to his knees I am thinking due to his high insulin spikes from being out on grass all day and I would say starting with the second bucket he’s not doing that anymore plus his arthritis seems to be getting better .. he can lay down now every day compared to on occasion .. full disclosure we use this product along side Previcox has made a huge difference.. also, this horse has PPID
